DESCRIPTION:There has long been a need in our area for a site where all community events open to the public can be found.\n\nThe Chamber Arts & Culture Committee is working with the Chamber to utilize the calendars on the Chamber website to accomplish this. The Chamber is generously opening this venue to members and non-members alike\, for the purpose of providing our residents with information on all area organization annual events open to the public.\n\n\n\nEvents like:\n\nTriple B BBQ\n\nChamber Wine Gala\n\nHealth Fair\n\nBaker Heritage Festival\n\nHobo Festival\n\nVeteran's Day Parade\n\nHomecoming Parade\n\nChristmas Parade\n\nMSCA Fall Festival\n\nRelay for Life\n\nMilitary Appreciation and Recognition\n\nSchool concerts\n\nRiverside Elementary Evening of the Arts\n\nAnnual church bazaars\n\nMayor's 5K Walk for Child Abuse Prevention Awareness\n\nFriends of the Crestview Library Book Sales\n\n\n\nThe Chamber Arts & Culture Committee will be hosting a workshop at the library meeting room on Monday\, 10/15\, starting at 5:30\, to help organize a master schedule of community events. Any area organization is welcome to attend\; or if you have only one such event or just wish to send in the information without attending the workshop\, please just send to me:\n\n\n\nRae Schwartz\n\nbakerny@yahoo.com\n\n585-5672\n\n\n\nIf you have any question about your event or this calendar\, please feel free to contact me.\n\nWe are so fortunate to live in an area where concern and support for others in an important community value. This calendar will give all of us the opportunity to attend many more community events\, helping them succeed. It will give every event the opportunity for maximum attendance.
