Florida Artist Blacksmith Association (FABA) is a 501(c)3 non-profit dedicated to teaching and preserving the art and craft of the blacksmith. Blacksmithing is a satisfying craft\, and a rewarding art. Using traditional processes with a 2\,000 year history you can forge almost anything you can imagine\, from the purely functional to the purely artistic. Come join us in the fun! For any blacksmithing event please wear cotton or natural fabric clothing\, long trousers and solid shoes or boots are required\, long sleeve cotton (not flannel) shirt highly recommended. We supply your steel\, coal\, tools\, working materials\, gloves\, eye and ear protection\, plus dust masks when necessary but if you have a leather apron you might want to bring it.
