SUMMARY:Bugs & Butterflies at the Crestview Public Library
DESCRIPTION:People benefit in so many ways by sharing the world with the insects that can be found in almost every conceivable habitat. Insects are everywhere and\, by far\, the most common animal on the planet with more than 1.5 million species named. Their size\, shape\, color\, biology and life history are so diverse and fascinating. Unfortunately\, most people are more aware of the few insects that cause problems than they are of the many beneficial insects. Uninformed people think that all insects are bad and in need of control.\n\n \n\nSheila Dunning\, Horticultural Agent for the University of Florida/Okaloosa County Extension Service\, will present "Bugs & Butterflies" at the 10:30 a.m. September 2nd First Tuesday series program at the Crestview Public Library. Dunning will focus on the helpful bugs and harmless butterflies and how to keep them in the landscape.\n\n \n\nThe program begins at 10:30 a.m. with coffee and cookies served starting at 10 a.m. The library is located at 1445 Commerce Drive in north Crestview behind the Post Office. Call 682-4432.
