DESCRIPTION:Expansion Grand Opening and Smoke on the Coast at Destin Commons\n\n \n\n4th Annual Smoke on the Coast BBQ & Fireworks Festival\n\nExpansion Grand Opening\n\nThursday\, July 3\, 1 pm to 10 pm\n\nDestin Commons\n\n \n\nHave a fun-filled day and evening celebrating Destin Commons' expansion grand opening with 22 more stores and restaurants\, the 4th Annual Smoke on the Coast BBQ competition\, kid's activities and street performers. Enjoy continuous live bands performing on two stages\, including THE MAXX\, Heritage\, Jones & Company\, Coconut Radio and Chris Alvarado. Twenty area restaurants and BBQ aficionados will light up their grills to prepare their best dishes. Starting at 6 pm\, for $1 per sampling\, people get to vote for People's Choice winners with proceeds benefitting military and local charities.  The evening concludes with an Independence Day firework extravaganza.  Beginning at 4 pm\, free shuttle services will run from Destiny Worship Center and Mattie Kelly Arts Cultural Village/Grace Lutheran church parking areas during Festival hours.
